The podcast started out as a simple idea. While traveling around the world – in places less frequented by Christians – one of our team members was struck by how God was at work there. Indigenous Christians advanced the Kingdom of Christ, often at great cost. Talking with these believers, breaking bread with them and learning lessons from their experiences was a profound joy and honor. “If only fellow Christians back home could be a fly on the wall…they too would be encouraged and equipped.”
That idea sparked this podcast. We don’t have a formula. There are no scripts or packaged narratives.
Our goal is to provide insights you won’t hear anywhere else. We aim to deliver evergreen content, where even old episodes offer value today. Take a quick look around and you will see the topics are compelling and unique.
Christians today face many challenges and have hard questions. This podcast strives to help answer them. If you find an episode helpful, the odds are your friends will as well. Go ahead and share this with them so that, slowly, slowly over time, we can further strengthen our Christian family.
The Christian Emergency Podcast is the flagship communications vehicle of the Christian Emergency Alliance. It is our primary means of distilling lessons and insights so you can quickly digest them.
We also don’t duck from controversial issues. Arriving at consensus may not be possible, but by graciously engaging these important topics, we hope to raise the level of awareness and biblical accountability across the board.
